Ahead of Game 5: Josh Shapiro Statement on Egregious Joel Embiid Snub

PENNSYLVANIA – This week, future first-ballot Hall of Famer Joel Embiid was robbed once again of the NBA’s Most Valuable Player award. From being the first center to lead the entire league in scoring since Shaquille O’Neal and average over 30 points a game since Sixers great Moses Malone – it’s clear that Joel Embiid is the true MVP.

In response, Attorney General Josh Shapiro released the following statement on his social media:

“If @wojespn sources are right, then you can also expect an investigation from me since @JoelEmbiid was robbed.”

Josh Shapiro has a long track record (unlike Jokic in the playoffs) of standing up for Pennsylvanians and protecting people from getting screwed, and when it comes to a true 76ers legend being snubbed, he won’t hesitate to have Pennsylvanians’ backs.
