Eight city employees charged with fraud in alleged theft of pandemic unemployment assistance

Eight Philadelphia city employees were charged Thursday with allegedly providing false information to obtain Pandemic Unemployment Assistance benefits in 2020, Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro announced.
